A few days ago, my blogger friends such as Jane, Angelina, Shirley, Sandy , etc, asked me if I could take and share with them some Christmas pictures when I was staying in Hong kong . Well, of course I felt quite honored to do so, but you know, the results might not be up to their expectation. However, I think you guys will love my sharing about how I spent my Christmas in Hong Kong because, though simple and easy, it was truly a warm and lovely memory with great friends and wonderful dishes.
I was actually not much of a “clubbing guy”, so the pictures I took on Christmas holidays a few days ago did not completely show the revelry and the wild party scenes that are commonly seen in celebration of important festivals in Hong Kong. But, still I had an unforgettable Christmas holidays because I had a pot-luck party with my colleagues and we all shared our kitchen skills together. You can see the lavish meal below and you can definitely imagine that many of us ate until we couldn’t take anymore. What a “delicious” blast.
Here, I would like to say thank you for my sweet colleagues who joined with and invited me to the small gathering party and I quite enjoyed myself that night.
When I went to the shopping area of the residential community I stayed in order to shop for the food ingredients I was going to cook, I could sensed a strong Christmas atmosphere because of the pretty festive decorations.
In the pot-luck party, the food I brought was the typical Taiwanese food , Lu Wei, the brewed snacks, I made by myself. I was very flattered when I was told that it’s one of the most popular dishes among others, which were all prepared by my colleague-Johnny. Johnny’s cooking is awesome and the food he made surely amazed us, cz it’s really really tasty. Thank you Johnny.
The next day, I also cooked and dined with other colleagues. This time I did very simple stuff—sitred-fried vegetable, egg pan-cake, minced-pork sauce with pan-fried dumplings, and soup. Hm…it’s also yummy! (P.S. the pizza was bought by us)
Lastly, I wish every one a wonderful festival and holiday.
