FCO一直都是我最喜歡飛的航班，因為在羅馬我可以享受那種悠閒的氣氛、吃超級美味的義大利麵、觀賞和引人入勝的古蹟。  

FCO has always been my favorite flight to operate since I may get to explore to Rome ’s laidback atmosphere, super tasty pasta, and alluring historical sites.
 

第二次到羅馬，雖然沒有如首回一樣地感到充實，不過到頭來還是個歡樂滿載的外站經驗。此行不同於上一趟羅馬班一般地造訪了知名的「許願池(Fontana di Trevi)」、「真實之口(Bocca della Verita / the Mouth of Truth)」、「羅馬競技場(Colosseum)」、和「梵蒂岡(Vatican)」等名勝，不過這次倒將重點放在到鎮上到處閒晃和品嚐美食等放鬆自我的行程上。  

My second time to Rome, though not as enriching as how it made me feel on my first visit, ended up as another blast for my out-port experience. Without reviewing those famous attractions such as Fontana di Trevi, Bocca della Verita (the Mouth of Truth), Colosseum, and Vatican to which I had paid a visit on my first flight, I centered this stay on relaxing myself by leisurely sauntering up and down in town and tasting delicious delicacies.  

** …, and Vatican to which I had paid a visit… 此句原形是…, and Vatican where I had paid a visit to…。句中以複合的地方關係代名詞「where」來引導後方的句子以補充說明前面的先行詞Vatican；但因為後方的句子之主要動詞是個有介系詞的動詞片語「pay a visit to」，所以這個動詞片語的介系詞to可以往前挪，放在先行詞前方。而where已是個完整的複合關代了，沒有to where的用法，所以只得將where去掉，改成代替事物的關係代名詞which。其它相關的用法如：Toufen is the town where I live in. 頭份是我所居住的城鎮。èToufen is the town in which I live； Taipei is the place where I thought of first when we discussed about our trip last night. 台北是昨晚我們討論旅遊行程時我頭一個想到的地方. è Taipei is the place of which I thought first when we discussed about our trip last night.

 

一位有經驗的阿哥陪咱們小逛了不少有趣的地方。感謝他的引領，我們到一家有名的冰淇淋店吃了好吃的冰淇淋，也到市區一些滿推薦的小館子品嚐了美味的義大利麵食。  

One seasoned male Flight Pursers kept us company to go to some interesting places. Thanks to his guide, we tried flavorful ice cream in a renowned ice-cream house and palatable pasta in downtown’s best-kept secrets. 

真的很高興能有此好機會飛往這個「麵食王國」。您知道嗎？事實上，百種以上的義大利麵食主要分成四大類：細長麵條(像是Spaghetti)、管麵（即大家所熟知的macaroni，如：長型的ziti、中型的penne、和短型的rigatoni）、造型麵條（包括了蝴蝶結造型的farfalle和貝殻型的conchiglie，甚至還有LP形狀的麵條喔）、及扁平麵條（有寛扁狀的千層麵或是長條狀的fettuccini）。其實，我並沒有特別喜歡哪一類；只要符合俺的胃口，任何一款都可以滿足我的口腹之慾。

I’m so happy to have had this good chance to fly to this “ Kingdom of Pasta ”. You know what, for the record, out of the more than a hundred kinds of pasta, four main types are categorized into. There are long strings (like spaghetti), tubes (known as macaroni, including the long ziti, medium penne, and short rigatoni), shaped pasta (covering the bowtie-shaped farfalle, shell-shaped conchiglie, and even penis-shaped noodles), and flat pasta (consisting of lasagna, or long strips, like fettuccini). There is actually no any one which I’m especially crazy about. As long as “the one” caters to my appetite, every type may please my stomach a great deal.

在西班牙臺階(Scalinata della Trinita dei Monti 又名 Spanish Steps)附近有一家名為「Piazza di Spagna」的義大利麵餐廳，相當受到其他組員們的推薦喔！因為它裡頭的義大利麵和燉飯好吃得不得了。每道料理都俗又大碗，是饕客們的最愛。要找到這家餐廳其實不難；只要往西班牙臺階前的康多提大道(Via Condotti)往下走，看到右手邊的TODs名店時左轉進該店對面的巷子，接著在第一個轉角左轉進去就到啦！一定要去吃吃看喔！  

In the vicinity of the bustling Scalinata della Trinita dei Monti (also called the Spanish Steps), a pasta restaurant named Piazza di Spagna, which is highly recommended by many crews, carries extremely tasty pasta and Risotto. Everything is so inexpensive and large in size that gluttons could feast on. It’s easy to locate the restaurant. Turn left into the alley just across from the TODs shop while walking down the Via Condotti street with the Spanish Steps behind. Then turn left at the first corner and you will see the restaurant. Be sure to check the food out there.
