可怕的莫拉克颱風讓全台人民為之一震。

The killing typhoon—Morakot has caused a sensation all over Taiwan .
 

雖然大水在災區皆漸漸退去，但據報導指出，已有一百多人死亡，數百人輕重傷，百人失蹤。

Although floodwaters in most of the severely-stricken areas are receding, the reported more than one hundred dead and some hundreds still could not escape from the power of this calamity. In addition, hundreds of others were also reportedly missing in the wake of Morakot.
 

人在香港，但看到這麼多同胞都陷在困境，真的不知道如何是好。我會默默祈禱，希望所有人都可以平安，災區快點復原。這次月中有個假可以回台，會盡量抽時間去幫忙賑災。 

Though in Hong Kong , seeing my people still mired in difficulties, I wish I could do something for the victims and the disaster areas. I would keep praying to wish all the living casualties safe and sound and the disaster areas be quickly recovered. I am scheduled with a few days off during the mid-August and planning to set aside some time for the post-typhoon rescue mission.
 

此時，我真誠希望各路網友們，大家告訴大家，有錢出錢，有力出力，你們的小小援手，對於這些災民卻是相當大的支援。

In the meantime, I sincerely hope that all my blog visitors may do their utmost to personally and also urge their friends to plunge themselves, financially or physically, into rescue teams. Our small contributions may serve as great reliefs for the victims.
