這次是老妹頭一回出國玩，做老哥的俺出錢幫她實現願望，帶她到泰國走走。  

This was my younger sister’s first time to go traveling overseas. Her bro, I, not only helped make her dream come true by paying for her trip, but showed her around parts of Thailand as well.

**not only…but also或not only…but…as well即不但…而且的用法，其後可加動詞、名詞或副詞的內容。如：Steven not only likes singing, but also likes dancing/ but likes dancing aswell.或 Steven likes not only singing, but also dancing/but dancing as well.史蒂芬不但喜歡唱歌，而且也愛跳舞。Mary is not only beautiful but also smart/but smart as well.瑪麗不但美麗，而且聰明。 

五天的泰國行我們嘗盡了泰國各式各樣的水果(俺超愛吃水果的)、享受了不少道地的泰國料理、造訪了曼谷有名的四面神(泰國人不稱為四面「佛」，因為他們認為佛只有一位，即「釋迦牟尼佛」)、體驗了超舒服的泰式按摩、還欣賞了人妖秀說。  

During our 5-day Thai trip, we tasted various kinds of fruits (I love fruits very much), enjoyed numerous typical Thai foods, visited the famous Four-Faced God (Thai people do not call the Four-Faced God “the Four-Faced Buddha", because in their opinions only Sakyamuni can be titled as Buddha), tried out the super relaxing and comfortable Thai-style massage, and watched an unforgettable ladyboy show.

**數字+P.P.過去分詞為複合形容詞的用法。上段的four-faced God即為God with four faces。其它相關用法如：six-legged animalà六腳獸 (animal with six legs)或one-eyed manà獨眼人 (a man with one eye)。 


 

在猴子學校裡可以看到兩隻主角猴，一隻叫「劉德嘩」，另一隻叫「郭護城」耍特技，很有趣。  
In monkey school, we saw two leading monkeys, Endy Lao and Aron Kwok, do the stunts, so amusing.

A lot of special Thai snacks can be found on the floating market.

體驗了刺激的水上活動—香蕉船、水上摩托車、滑翔傘；芭達雅的海邊超美。  

We experienced a few exciting water activities: Banana Boat, Jet Ski, and Paragliding. Pattaya’s beaches are extremely charming. 

到曼谷最有名的四面佛寺拜拜(位於曼谷市中心，在Erawan 酒店和SOGO百貨附近)。  

We worshipped the most famous Four-Faced God, located in the center of Bangkok with Erawan Hotel and SOGO nearby. 

人妖秀裡的人妖真的是比一般女生都還美說！  

The transvestites (or Katoeys in Thai) in the ladyboy show are much more beautiful than general women. 

陪老妹到Zen百貨公司的NaRaYa旗鑑店購買傳說中的「曼谷包」。  

I accompanied my sister to NaRaRa flag-ship shop in Zen department store to purchase for the legendary “bangkok bags”。 

最後老妹對我說：「哥，以後每年都帶我出國玩一次好不好？國外真的很好玩耶！」我想，這位已經有兩個孩子的媽的女人已經上癮了。  

At the end of the trip, my sis told me, “Bro, can you take me to a foreign country every year? It’s really a lot of fun to travel overseas.” I think this lady with two kids has been hooked up already.
