It’s the time for me to cultivate my mind and have a good rest next month.

Since the second round of my Annual Leave has already been arranged for next month, the coming November is filled with a number of holidays, occupying two thirds of the month. Although a decent amount of salary would also be paid to me if the whole month were rostered with holidays, I still prefer flying more to resting. Apparently, this is because I can earn more money. Unfortunately it happens that Annual-Leave holidays cannot be swapped with flights.

If S V ~~, S will + V~~/祈使句。例:If it rains tomorrow, I will not go to Taipei/stay at home, please.

If S were/V ~~, S + would/could/should/might + V。例:If I were a rich person, I could afford to buy that house.

If S were to + V~~, S + would/could/should/might + V。例:If the Sun were to rise in the west and set in the east, I would marry you.

4.        與過去事實「不可能」發生的假設用法 (後悔的用法)If S had + p.p.~~, S + would/could/should/might + have p.p.。例:If I had carefully guarded my farm, I would not have my vegetables stolen.

If S should + V, S would/could/should/might + V/祈使句。例:If I should be away for more than 2 days, Steven would take care of my vegetables in my farm. If I should die, please take care of my vegetables.

My main plan for the holidays of next month will revolve around an overseas getaway for a vacation with my younger sister. Having no free time as what they have told me, my parents and younger brother will pass this valuable opportunity and only my sister and I will be prepared together for a trip. Recently, various attractive packages can be found in Taipei International Travel Fair. Among other competitors, SetTour’s “Tai Zheng Dian”, the 5-day Thai travel package, has successfully won me and wooed me. The package, beginning from the 22nd, covering all accommodations, meals, recreations, and round-trip tickets with tax included, only charges 7 thousand something (equal to USD 240), which is a real bargain. I haven’t had a real fun in Thailand , and this will be my first chance to heartily indulge myself in its beauty and tasty delicacies. My colleague, Sunny, introduced a variety of must-visit places and must-taste foods on her blogger, and they will also definitely be listed as part of my itinerary.
