南非的Safari真是有夠讚的啦 Impresive South Africa Safaris－luosteve的部落格

當我和同事們說我將做約翰尼斯堡的班時，他們大部份都建議我一定要參加safari。

When I told my colleagues that I would soon operate the JNB flight, most of them all suggested me that I go join safaris.

**用and連接來去動詞(go或come)以及一般動詞時，and可以省略，而直接以go/com + V的形式表示。如：I will go get some food for tomorrow’s breakfast.我會買些時物當明天的早餐。Please come see these beautiful flowers.請過來看看這些美麗的花朵。另外，如果go後面所接的是一些休閒娛樂等的動詞，如：picnic(野餐)、fish(釣魚)、shop(購物)、play(玩…遊戲、打…球類運動)、jog(慢跑)…等，則要用go + Ving的形式表示。如：Would you like to go jogging with me tomorrow afternoon？明天下午你要和我一起跑步嗎？Steven and I will go shopping together this evening.Steven和我今晚要一起去採購。

Though simple inside, the hotel I stay looks like nothing in its exterior but a resort villa.

以前我從沒想過會來南非嘗試safari的活動；「獅子園」的探險和「騎馬之旅」則讓我經歷了真實且精彩的南非初體驗。

I’d never dreamed about coming to South Africa for any safaris before. The “ Lion Park ” exploration and the “Horse Riding Safari” both made an authentic and wonderful South African experience.

我及同學Vicky (一位這次和我一起飛約翰尼斯堡的台灣同事)、Ricky和Nicky(另兩位昨天才到的同事)，在我第一天抵達南非後一同前往獅子園。我們叫了部計程車到公園，同時該司機也扮演了導遊的身份帶我們遊園並最後接送我們回飯店。

My classmate, Vicky (one of my Taiwanese colleagues who flew with me this time to JNB), Ricky, Nicky (another two badge mates, who just arrived the day before), and I went together to the Lion Park the first day of my arrival in JNB. We booked a taxi to the Park and the taxi driver also acted as a tour guide to show us around the Park before he finally drove us back to hotel.

獅子園的小獅子真的超溫馴，老愛缠著我，口愛喔！

The lion cubs in the Lion Park are so tame. They like cuddling against me. So cute!

獅子園事實上是個野生動物保護區，裡頭有不少是經常可以在「探索」或「動物星球」頻道上出現的野生動物。我們一行人都超級興奮，因為可以親眼看到小獅子、長頸鹿、以及鴕鳥等有趣的動物，並且還能撫摸他們。當我們和這些動物們肢體接觸時，他們都不會設法逃跑，完全表現出其極度溫馴的一面。在和大獅子近距離靠近時，我們不得不待在車上，並將窗戶半開，以免遭受這幾隻兇猛的「大貓」攻擊。

The Park is actually a Game Reserve in which a number of wild animals commonly seen from Discovery or Animal Planet can be found there. My colleagues and I were so excited to see and touch those interesting animals, such as the lion cubs, giraffe, and ostriches. They were so tame that they did not manage to run away when we tried to have a physical contact with them. When we got really closer to the grown-ups of lions, we could not but stay in the car with our windows half-rolled-up for fear of being attacked by the big, ferocious “cats”.

第二天早上，我們幾位組員前往附近的山區進行騎馬之旅。我和我這航班的一些組員們(包含Vicky)在聽完Dean教練對騎馬技巧和一些安全注意事項簡單說明後，便正式開始嚐試騎馬的冒險活動啦。駕馭馬兒比我們之前想像得還來得簡單，而且我們大伙都玩得很盡興。

On the morning of the next day, we set off to the mountainous area nearby for the Horse Riding Safari. I, together with other crews of my flight, Vicky included, officially took a crack at the horse-riding adventure after we had been briefed about some horse-riding techniques as well as something related to safety by our coach—Dean. It’s much easier to harness a horse than what we had expected and we all had a good time on horses’ back.

我們的Dean牛仔教練帶領我們騎在馬背上穿梭於彎延崎曲的山路上。旅途中，只要一有機會，教練便對我們解說我們所看到或擦身而過的動物，整趟旅程真是充實有意義。不論是野牛、班馬、長頸鹿、羚羊…等都是等待我們去進一步了解的活課程。我真的非常喜歡這野外探險，因為不但可以體驗大自然的壯麗與美，更可擁有此一好機會品味幾個小時難得的詳和及寧靜。

Our coach, Dean, a cowboy, led us to hit the winding hilly paths on horses’ back. Alone the way, he timely told us information about the animals we glimpsed or passed, making the journey so enriching and rewarding. The bucks, zebras, giraffe, antelope…were all the living lessons for us to get to know. I really love this safari since I could not only enjoy the splendid and beautiful natural views, but I had a good opportunity to savor a few hours of peace and quietness.

** Our coach, Dean, a cowboy, led us…本句的主詞是Our coach，而主動詞則是led(leadà帶領的過去式)臨連在coach之後並以逗號隔開的dean和a cowboy這兩個名詞則是「同位語」的用法，補充說明coach的身份；同位語可以是名詞或名詞片語。其它例子如：I live in Toufen, the most beautiful town in Miaoli county.我住在頭份，它是苗栗縣裡頭最美麗的小鎮。I met his brother, Steven, yesterday.我昨天遇到他的弟弟-Steven。

當然啦，除了參與上述的這些戶外冒險之外，我們一些組員們也到Montecasino(以其各式的賭賻遊戲和異國料理餐廳聞名)及Forways Mall這大型購物商場小逛。我們並沒有去casino試試手氣，但倒是在這兩個地方選了不錯的餐廳大快朵頤了一番。

Well, besides the above-mentioned outdoor adventures, some of us crews also spent some time in Montecasino, an indoor casino mall famous for its many types of gambling games and exotic food restaurants, and in Fourways Mall, a big shopping mall. We did not try out any gambles in the casino but chose nice restaurants to satisfy our appetite in these two places.

最難忘的外站：這次真的很高興可以和同學Vicky一起飛~而且在本外站還碰到另一位好同學Ricky，還結識了她航機的香港同事Nicky，開心喔.

The most memorable out-port: So happy to have flown with my classmate-Vicky. Also, I feel quite lucky enough to have met another good classmate-Ricky, having reached one day earlier, in this out-port. What’s more, good to get acquainted with Nicky, Ricky’s Hong Kong co-worker in her flight.
