I’d been waiting for quite a while to be rostered to operate the hot flight of NRT long stay before I finally got one. But no one could have predicted that I actually chanced upon this opportunity to fly it from my last standby.

Wow, I must have gotten the lucky things going on, claimed by other crews, because of being called to fly this golden Japanese flight.

** 主詞 +  have/has gotten(got) the +  形容詞 + things going on是個很口語好用的片語,即稱某人有夠**的。如:史蒂芬真的是有夠復古的àSteven’s really got the retro things going on.

The reason why the 504 is dubbed as one of a Japanese golden flights is because its out-port rest hours are the longest, 24 hours, among other NRT overnight ones. Therefore, most crews will make the best of their stay in Tokyo to hang around downtown areas or to go crazy shopping.

When reaching my hotel, I planned to go to AEON Center , a huge mall not far away from the hotel, with the other two female crews. It’s the first place that most of crews will always choose to visit, for many of them are very much into shopping and a wide variety of goods can be found there. Well, to tell you the truth, I was not quite feverish about shopping but just wanted to take a small walk and to see what kind of mall it actually is.

Instead of taking the shuttle bus, we decided to walk there together since, according to one of my companions, the mall is just within walking distance, only taking about 20 minutes on foot. Along the way to AEON Center , we were chatting, browsing the views, and enjoying the breeze, so relaxing.

Because the two ladies were hungry, we stopped by a sushi restaurant and had some sushi there. It’s a conveyor-type Sushi-A-La-Carte restaurant, also called Sushi-Go-Round, where we take our favorite dishes in plates from a rotating conveyor.

AEON Center

AEON Center is a very big mall, consisting of different shops ranging from bakery, clothing stores to supermarkets. You can name it. We parted from one another when arriving at the mall and killed our time there. Well, as I was not a big fan of those colorful goods, I tried my best to quickly finish my “exploration”in the mall and then walked back to hotel ahead of those girls since I was really beat in the end on that day.

These are the things I bought from a supermarket in the AEON Center . They are nothing but just daily necessities. I particularly like Japanese instant noodles because the taste is one of a kind. You can see from the picture that the soup looks deliciously creamy and a piece of authentic pork is also included in the La-Men. That’s why I chose to have a bowl of instant noodles as part of my dinner.
