First of all, I would like to say “SORRY” to my dear blogger friends who always support me and love my blogs because I failed to keep in touch with you guys for over a month. I also want to clarify that I’m not the stick in the mud you might consider.

Weeks ago, I had been busy hunting for a flat, discussing about details regarding moving to another place with my future flat mate, taking a look at different places, moving into and cleaning my new home and so on until most of these stuff was finally settled down. Of course, during this period, in addition to being tired from running around for the above-mentioned, I had also to take care of my work as well as some trifles, which no doubt occupied much of my free time and thus distracted my attention from keeping blog. Besides, there was no Internet service after I moved in (my flat mate and I contacted a number of telcom companies but none of them was able to come over for the installation within our expected date), and that’s why I barely had time to get on-line to interact with you guys, nor did I have motive force to post new updates. I hope you can understand.

** to be busy + Ving是個固定用法,表「忙於」的意思,此用法的busy後方動詞要用Ving喔,因為其實省略了「in」,舊式用法其實是to be busy in Ving. Steven is busy with his assignments from school.(史蒂芬在忙著做學校的功課)

One month has just gone by. I feel so relieved that most of these troublesome affairs have eventually come to an end and I’m now almost free to start up chitchatting with you on-line. I really miss you guys indeed. I know some of you such as Jane, Richard, Sandy Wu, Angelica, Shoujen, Jerry, Irene, etc. told me more than once that my blog was collecting dust and asked me to stop “lurking”, but you know I just happened to have difficulty spending time on the Internet for viewing your words and creating my own. Well, to tell you the truth, your full supports and constant urges did impel me a lot to get back to you ASAP. So, I am putting aside other things today to be focused on writing my first article after Chinese Lunar New Year for you guys and, at the same time, saying my New Year greetings to you all.

**一般的潛水活動不是用diving(純粹把身體潛入水中一段時間,然後出水換氣),不然就是scuba diving(帶著水肺氧氣桶潛水)。

** S + have problems / trouble / difficulty / a hard time + (in) Ving Steven is having difficulty / problems/ trouble / a hard time accessing the Internet.

I am very much grateful to have you all accompany me to kill those boring days in the last year. I would like to say thank you for being part of my life. It was such a bliss whenever we shared things together through blogger, happy and interesting. My life was additionally enriched and more colorful due to:

your cheers, encouragements and warm interactions;

your patience in spending the boring moments with me during my standby periods from work;

the postcards and letters you sent to me sometimes;

your recipes of making good foods;

your holding a number of small gatherings;

your constant updates with great stories and beautiful photos.
