到外站時，公司都會安排我們住高檔飯店。我們公司的組員都是一人一大間房，非常享受。有的房間有很大的一張大床，有的甚至有兩張大床，有的房型比如說中東國家的飯店，還誇張到連華麗的客廳及廚房都有說，設備真是完善。  

When in out-ports, we crew stay in nice, high-class hotels. In every hotel, every individual crew of my company is always arranged to stay in a big room, so enjoyable. Some rooms have king beds; some have even two large ones. Some, let’s take the hotel rooms in Middle-eastern countries for instance, are even equipped with luxurious living rooms and kitchens, ideally complete.

 

大家都知道，住在各個飯店，盥洗和日常生活用品的部份不用擔心，他們都會準備高級的牙刷、肥皂、洗髮精、沐浴乳、梳子、護膚乳、拖鞋、一些茶和咖啡包、還有針線包…等（每個飯店所提供的項目不同），很多飯店甚至應有盡有。  

We all know that while staying in a hotel, we don’t need to worry about the toiletries for keeping ourselves clean because things like quality toothbrushes, soaps, shampoos, bath gels, combs, body creams, slippers, some tea and coffee bags, and even sewing kits…etc can be well prepared by the hotel (well, items prepared by different hotels vary). Some hotel rooms may generouslly offer very complete free daily necessities.  

 

其實我們很多組員習慣用自己的盥洗用品，所以飯店的東西有時幾乎沒啥用到，頂多會使用沐浴乳和洗髮精。常常這些剩的消耗品沒有用也都是被回收。這些盥洗日用品都是免費使用的，為了嚮應環保及公益，大家在外站，或者旅行時，沒有用到的免費日用品可以趁「新鮮」時收集起來，捐給慈善機構，比如說孤兒院、療養院、或兒童福利中心…等；隨手就可以行善喔！  

Frankly speaking, many of us crew are used to using our own toiletries products, so we actually seldom use those offered by the hotels but in many cases we do make use of shower gels and shampoos. Oftentimes, these consumable supplies are recollected by hotels if unused after their guests check out. These toiletries are free of charge, so in order to respond to eco-friendly program and some charitable activities to help the needy in orphanages, nursing homes or children welfare service centers, when staying in out-port hotels or traveling, you may feel free to collect the unused toiletries and donate them to the above-mentioned charitable organizations when those products are still “fresh”. With just a small action, you can do good deeds.  

 

這是我收集的成果，以及感恩好朋友的熱情讚助，我這次是捐給台北兒童福利基金會，其它的慈善基構及其聯絡方式大家可以到網上Google打關鍵字可查得到(如創世基金會、療養院、孤兒院、兒童福利中心/基金會...等)。  

This is the collection of mine and my friends’. I am very much grateful for the sponsors from my friends. This collection was donated to Taipei Children Welfare Center. Information about other charitable organizations and their contacts can be googled on-lined by searching with key words (such as Genesis Social Welfare Foundation, nursing home, orphanage, children welfare service center/foundation, and so on).

 

助人真的有種說不出來的喜悅。 希望朋友們也可以一同發心，同時多腦力激盪地想一些環保，不用花啥錢、也可以有益於社會的方式大家一同分享，祝福大家！大家一同嚮應吧！  

The happiness of helping others is indescribable. So, dear friends, let’s brainstorm together to find out any ways, environmental-friendly , not wasting of money as well as beneficial to our society, to do good deeds and share these ways mutually to better our living world, shall we?
