我們都知道，民宿業在台灣很多地方都逐漸蓬勃起來。為了吸引顧客群，並且迎合顧客們不同的喜好，讓他們擁有難忘的體驗，這些民宿藉透過其令人驚異的室內外設計、舒適的設備、和讓人回味無窮的早餐彼此相互較勁。  

As we know, B&B industry is now thriving in many parts of Taiwan . In order to attract customers and cater to their different tastes to ensure them an unforgettable experience, those mushrooming B&B inns seem to be competing among one another by means of their stunning interior and exterior designs, comfortable facilities, and impressive breakfast.

當選擇到外地度假時，由於民宿的款待方式較熱情且住宿品質較高檔，人們越來越傾向於住在民宿而非旅館或飯店。民宿即私人所擁有，含房間和早餐的出租住所。旅客們會選擇住民宿是因為它有家的感覺、附有很棒的早餐、室內設計別出心裁、而且還有其它附屬的優點。許多人甚至還將民宿當做是遠離城市喧囂的浪漫渡假之處。 

When away on vacation, instead of choosing hotels for over-night stays, people are now tending to target on B&Bs as their the first option of lodging due to their more welcome and higher quality accommodations. Bed and Breakfasts are private residential housing for rent that include a private room and breakfast. Many travelers seek them because of its home-like atmosphere, great breakfasts, creative interior designs and other additional benefits. Many even view them as romantic hideaway from the hustle and bustle of cities. 

 

對於上週花蓮遊，我和我朋友也選擇住在民宿喔！你們知道嗎？在旺季時訂民宿總是一房難求。這就是為什麼旅客們得在幾個星期前或甚至幾個月前就得先卡位了。  

As for my Hualien trip last week, my friends and I stayed in B&B inns too. You know what, it’s always difficult to book your favorite B&B lodging during high season. That’s why travelers need to step on it and make a reservation a few weeks or even a few months in advance.  

 

幸好我們在出發前兩週訂到了好的民宿。就讓俺向大家簡介我們所住的兩所民宿，如果覺得它們不錯，下回你們到花蓮玩時可以好好考慮。  

Thanks god that we finally got nice B&Bs about two weeks before we set off to Hualien. Let me make a quick introduction to the two B&Bs we stayed and you may take them into consideration for your lodging on your next trip to Hualien.  

 

第一天住的民宿：金澤居  

First Day B&B Lodging: Kanazawa House 
 

傳統兼典雅設計，環境很寧靜，到花蓮市區大概是十分鐘車程。  

Traditional and Elegant designs and peaceful surroundings. About 10 min. drive to Hualien city.

 

這所民宿的主要特色是它有幾顆棵大且翠綠的榕樹。其中一棵榕樹上還有類似像樹窩的平台，可讓人們在上面欣賞風景和喝茶聊天。此外，金澤居也以其整天開放的「樹窩餐廳」聞名，而餐廳的「蓮花火鍋」也很推喔！  

It boasts of its big and lush banyan trees, one of which also embraces a house-like deck. People can climb up to the deck to view scenery and have tea with friends. In addition, Kanazawa House is also famous for its Tree-House restaurant, which is open whole day and known for the highly-recommended Lotus hot pot.

房間大部份是木質裝璜，很有舒服和放鬆的感覺。房間內的必需品一應俱全，還有瓶裝水以及泡麵說。房間旁邊是個青翠的院子，院子內還有個魚池喔！  

Rooms are mostly wooden-decorated, cozy and relaxing. The rooms have all the necessaries including bottled water and instant noodles. Beside the rooms is a green yard with a fish pond. 

 

這裡的早餐是備餐人員準備好的套餐，很養生且很豐富喔！  

Breakfast is prepared in set by caterers, very healthful and rich.

 

民宿老闆還提供免費的腳踏車讓住戶邊騎邊享受附近小陘之美。  

The innkeepers offer free bikes so you can explore the beautiful trails in the vicinity.

第二天住的民宿：63 Inn  

Second Day B&B Lodging: 63 Inn 
 

63 inn的63並不是它的門牌號碼或是它有63間房，而是民宿主人在63歲時實現了他開民宿的夢想而命名的喔！  

Neither named after its house number nor after the 63 rooms it actually not houses, the 63 Inn first got its name due to the fact that the innkeeper carried out his dream of owning a B&B at the age of 63.
 

 

這個民宿它的感覺其實就像是高檔的青年旅館般，不像金澤居一樣房間不多但每個房間都很精緻。63 Inn它就類似宿舍一樣，但室內還ok，而且比金澤居多了一份的寧靜和悠閒。  

Unlike rooms of Kanazawa House, not a lot in number but delicate in designs, the rooms of 63 Inn feel like high-class Youth Hostels with OK interiors and gives off more touches of peacefulness and laid-back atmosphere.

 

這裡的早餐是採自家式的。  

Breakfast here is self-served. 

 

它的庭園造景很美喔！  

It has a very beautiful outdoor landscaping.
