這個月我只要做兩班就行了—曼谷以及約翰尼斯堡。  

I only need to operate two flights this month-BKK and JNB.
 

嗯，有這麼長的假期看起來很不錯，但俺不認為這適合我，因為我才剛結束商務艙的訓練，正期待一些班來練習。  

Well, it looks so wonderful to have such a long period of holidays, but I don’t think it really best suits me, for I have just finished J-Class training and I do aspire more flights to practice.

你知道嗎，這個月的曼谷班原本可以是我將商務艙訓所學好好運用的航班，但誰知就在飛行簡報前八分鐘我竟被拉下來無法飛了，因為機型轉換的關係（原本的波音777-300換成777-200，最後我因為是多出來的組員，所以被拉下來了）。好沮喪說~接著我被改成隔天得做PX(只當乘客不用工作)到曼谷去人力遞補，然後做回程的班機回來。  

You know what, the BKK flight of this month could have been my first flight to put what I have learned from J-Class training into practice, but who knows I was pulled out from the aircraft at last due to aircraft change just 8 min. before the briefing (Jumbo 777-300 to 777-200, for which I was the extra crew and thus expelled). So frustrating. Then I was assigned to work as a PX (fly as a passenger without any duty) to BKK the next day in complement of the crew shortage, and operate the return flight back to HKG.

天哪~原本我可以在這個月的曼谷班開始我商務艙的首航，但就因為機型突然改變，而我又被調去做波音747 (除非短班載客量超過80%會多安排一位BC<我們這些非主管級的空服員>協助做商務艙外，我們BC是沒有機會在747做商務艙的，都是阿哥阿姐們在做的)，又因我這個月的另一班南非班又是同樣機型，所以二月根本沒機會做到商務艙了，因為長程根本不會安排BC協助商務艙。  

Gosh, originally I could have a chance to practically work in Business Class from the BKK flight in Feb. Owing to the aircraft change and the fact that I was then assigned to work on Jumbo 747 flight (no position for us BCs (the non-superior flight attendants) to work in J unless the loading is over 80% for regional flights and all of the J class crews in 747 are our flight pursers), I don’t think I will have any chance to start my FIRST J class flight in this month because the other flight I will operate is JNB and it’s another Jumbo 747 aircraft, not positioning any BC to work in J class for long-haul flights.

約翰尼斯堡回來後緊接著是半個多月的假期(一般的休假再加上兩週年假)，所以第一趟的商務艙勢必等到三月初了。當然啦，這也代表著我得常復習商務艙訓的所學，否則三月份就很有可能全都忘了。然而，有如此長的假期，我先是非常高興可以回台和家人一同過年，再來是很以好好利用長假放鬆自己，在三月份開工前好好充電一番。不管如何，好好享受假期再說啦!  

A more-than-half-a-month holidays (G days and two-week Annual Leave) follows JNB, so I think I won’t begin my first J class until the early March. Well, this also means I shall brush up on it from time to time or I would be very much likely to forget everything I had learned from the training. Still, with such a long period of the Leave, I am first extremely happy that I can go home to spend the Chinese New Year holidays with my family, and secondly I may relax quite a while as a good refreshment before I begin to work next month. No matter what, enjoying the holidays is the first thing to do.
