上週四是我頭一次和無名的格友們見面，非常開心和興奮。  

Last Thursday, I met some of my friends on Wretch blog for the first time, fun and thrilling. 
 

和Richard兄以及安琪姐在部落格上聊了好一陣子了，Richard常帶著他的G1相機到處拍照，喜歡用照片在部落格上寫日記；而安琪姐則嫁了一個人非常好相處的美國老公Denny，兩人常到處享用美食，愛和格友們分享他們的美食經驗。  

I have been interacting with Richard and Dloveang on the blog for quite a while. Richard enjoys taking pictures with his G1 camera and likes to keep his blog diary with those pictures to share with us. As for Dloveang, she married a very easy-going American husband, Denny. They both are fond of tasting fine foods and are always ready to unveil how they feel about the delicacies and restaurants on their blog.

 

上週南非班回來我接著回台度假時，看到網路Richard留言給我，說他和安琪姐要找吃飯，俺二話不說答應啦！呼呼~要和格友見面囉，既期待又開心說。  

Last week when I went back to Taiwan after finishing operating the JNB flight, I saw a blog message, left by Richard, telling me that he and Dloveang would like to invite me out to dinner. I said YES without hesitation. Yeah~I felt so happy and looking forward to it because it would be a lot of fun to meet blog friends. 
 

最後我們尋覓到了內湖的一家法式素食餐廳「Su」一同用晚餐。這家餐廳我吃過三四次了，是我吃過最好吃的西式素食餐廳。簡單的食材可以變化出精緻且美味的素食料理，不論是點心、pasta、燉飯、pizza…樣樣都讓饕客讚不絕口呢！  

We decided to have our dinner together in a French-style vegetarian restaurant, Su, located in Nei-Hu. I’ve been to that restaurant for 3 or 4 times, and it can be ranked as the best one to me among its rivals. With simple ingredients, delicate and delicious dishes, ranging from desserts, pasta, Risotto to pizza, are variously conjured up in Su and everything there is highly praised by gourmets. 

 

我們一致都點了不同的pasta來吃，每份套餐都是三百五十的價位，有前菜、主食、甜點及飲料，滿划算的。聊天當中，大家都非常健談。我們中英合壁，因為安琪的老公是美國人，所以也摻雜英文，聊到了工作、興趣…哈哈，真有趣。  

We all ordered pasta and each set meal charged us NT$ 350, well, quite reasonable. We were very talkative and had a good time chatting among one another. Since Dloveang’s husband is a native speaker of English, we used English in part during our lengthy conversation, in which topics like our occupations and interests were covered.




 

大概耗了兩個小時吧才結束，因為Richard從桃園開車上來，擔心這老兄回去時太晚被老婆罵，所以無法長聊，不過我們約好了下次找個時間，一起來個烤肉趴或自帶外食趴，令人期待喔！  

It took us 2 hours or so before we called it a day in Su for the get-together. Worrying about it might be late for Richard to get home since he traveled far from Taoyuang to Taipei, we couldn’t help but close the gathering as early as possible lest Richard should be scolded by his wife. Well, we did made an appointment for our next reunion, and it will be a BBQ party or a pot-luck, so expecting.  

** 「不得不…；忍不住…」的用法：S + cannot help + Ving = S + cannot but / cannot help but + 原V = S + have / has no choice / alternative to V。如：I cannot help crying out loud = I cannot but cry out loud = I cannot help but cry out loud = I have no choice / alternative to cry out loud.我忍不住大叫了一下。 
 

** 唯恐…；以免的用法為：… lest S (should) 原V 或者… for fear that S + V。如：Steven got up very early yesterday morning lest he (should) be late for school / Steven got up very early yesterday morning for fear that he would be late for school.史蒂芬為了避免遲到，昨天早上很早就起床了。
