差不多在我六月中年假開始前的一個禮拜左右，俺就被格友們通知要盡可能將六月二十七號給騰出來和大伙聚餐。  

About a week before my annual leave in the mid-June began, I was informed that I should try my best to make time for a get-together with some good blogger friends of mine on June 27th。  

** 部落格這個字的英文名稱正確來說是「blogger」而非台式的「blog」。根據Wikipedia網上大百科對blogger這個單字的解釋是，「a blog storage service that allows private or multi-user blogs…allowed users to publish blogs on (一個部落格雜記的儲存服務區，做為私人或者多人的部落格雜記存放用途...容許不同使用者分享部落格雜記於上頭)」，是一個可以放部落格文章的平台，像無名部落格或雅虎部落格就可以說是blogger。而blog的意思就是指網上札記、日誌等的意思，它包含了文章、圖片或甚至影像音樂等元素。所以我們可以說I keep a blog on my Yahoo blogger everyday.(我每天都在我的雅虎部落格上寫部落格文章)。  

 

安琪姐和理察兄特別註記說，這個聚會將在理察甜蜜的小窩裡舉行，是個自帶外食的趴踢，所以每個人都得帶道好料的參與。俺當天是最後一位入場的格友(沒法度啦，睡太晚了)，一進到理察桃園的家裡時，美味全都彌漫在我們即將用餐及開港的客廳裡頭。我的媽呀，理察兄的家真的是寬敞又溫馨呀!  

As noticed by Angelina and Richard, a potluck-style gathering would be held in Richard’s sweet home, so everyone should bring something delicious to participate in. I was actually the last to arrive (my bad, because I overslept) at Richard’s in Taoyuan. On entering his house, the smell of delicious dishes was penetrating the whole living room, where we were to dine and chatted together. Gosh, Richard’s home looks so spacious and warm.  

 

桌上所擺的食物真的是令人垂涎三尺呀，這也展現出大伙真的粉用心哩！這中西合壁的菜色，從生菜沙拉、麵包、到香菇雞湯都有。不過，在我看來，每道菜都很有味道，但丹尼斯的「香料雞腿」以及理察的「香菇雞湯」味調得”賭賭好”，尤其美味，我想你們倆真的夠格開自己的餐廳囉！哈~然而，因為我前一天做完巴林班之後馬上又從香港趕搭飛機回來，俺真的累到沒有力氣下廚，所以只好勉為其難地帶了個台北提拉米蘇名店的提拉米蘇蛋糕到場，嘻~令俺意外的是，它還滿獲好評的說。  

The foods laid out on the table were so good, showcasing that everyone’d really gone all out. They were a combination of western and Chinese styles, ranging from salad, bread, to chicken soup with Chinese mushrooms. However, in my opinion, all the dishes were wonderful, but the Spiced Chicken Drumsticks made by Dennis and the Mushroom Chicken Soup from Richard were seasoned properly and singularly tasty. I think you two are qualified to open your own restaurants. Hahaha…well, frankly speaking, I did not have time to prepare any cooking the night before due to the fact that I just caught flight back to Taiwan from Hong Kong right after my Bahrain flight and was too tired to work on any kitchen jobs, but, surprisingly, the Tiramisu cake I bought from a top-name shop in Taipei still received wide raves.  

** 呵~說到雞腿呀，很多台灣人都會用「chicken’s leg」這個字，但難免會讓不少外國人認為是從腿到雞腳的部份，當然如果要單稱鳳爪就直接用「chicken’s feet」即可，而雞腿最精準且幾乎在大部份外國超市標籤上或阿逗仔口語上的標準用字就是用「drumstick」，也就是棒棒腿了。


 

我們這餐吃了好多東西，包含了方先生和方太太們(理察兄夫婦)準備的馬可先生美味麵包、芹菜和紅蘿蔔蔬菜棒、香菇雞湯、以及紅酒燉牛肉，Serena (因為網上登記的名稱是bysby，所以我們幾乎都叫她bysby)及英國男友安德魯所準備的蔥油餅，安琪和她美國老公Dennis(D-man)所帶來的香料雞腿。另外兩位安琪的美女友人(俺忘了名字了, 別打我呀)應該帶飲料吧!至於俺，我只有帶個提拉米蘇蛋糕(見下圖)和紅櫻桃派(因為太多食物了，所以這道就沒有拿出來)  

We had so many dishes together, including Mr. Mark Bakery’s delicious bread, celery & carrot bars, chicken soup with Chinese mushrooms, Red Wine Beef Stew (prepared by Mr. and Ms. Fangs-Richard and his Wife), Green Onion Pancake (prepared by Serena, usually called bysby by most of us because of her blogger’s registered name, and her English boyfriend-Andrew), Spiced Chicken Drumsticks (prepared by D-man and his wife, Angelina). The other two beautiful girls, Angelina's friends (I'm sorry that I forget the names, please forgive me), brought drinks I think. As for me, I only brought a Tiramisu Cake (shown below) and a Cherry Pie (skipped because of too many foods).


  

這些糕點真的是非常好的餐後甜點，因為真的是太好吃了。尤其是那個波士頓派，這次結束後大伙定會馬上去搶購吧！  

These great did play a vital role in serving as after-meal deserts, cz they were so yummy. The Boston Pie took the crown, and I think many of us cannot wait to get one.

 


當然啦，我們也不忘照些合照做為此次聚會的留念，每個人都灰常上相哩！  

Of course we did not forget to have some photos of ourselves taken as a good memory for this gathering. Everyone looks great in these photos.




 

我們開心地邊吃邊聊，且閒扯了一大堆。這場小聚真的很成功，因為大伙都非常沈浸在其中。在這裡我要感謝方氏夫婦(就是理察和他那水水的阿娜達啦)的邀請以及辛苦的準備，同時也很開心能參與此盛會與你們(俺最棒的格友們)相會。現在就等著期待下次的網聚囉！這樣的一個也許早就註定的緣份難得，值得我們用心珍惜。 

We were happily chatting and gossiping among one another while having the delicious meal. The gathering was a real blast, cz we all did enjoy ourselves. I really appreciate the Fangs’ (namely Richard and his beautiful darling wife) invitation and hard work in preparing everything. Also, I am so glad to have joined this party with you guys, my best blogger friends, and am now looking forward to our next one. Such a possibly pre-destined relationship does matter and deserves being well-cherished by all of us.

** cz常被用來做because的縮寫。

所以囉，朋友們，下次的聚會你們想在何時何地辦哩？
