想提升自己英文能力,讓脫口而出的英語更漂亮貼切的人有福了~這本書會是您最有利的工具。
Those who are longing for improving English proficiency and talking more colloquially and appropriately in English may now find this book very useful for such purpose.
** 在英文裡頭,若要表示「那些…的人」、「凡是…的人」的用法,可套用:Those who + V…,Whoever + V…,Anyone who + V…,They who + V…,He who + V…(後二者較正式且常在古籍中出現)的格式, 但要注意主動詞一致喔。例:Those who want to travel abroad need to save up. = Whoever wants to travel abroad needs to save up. = Anyone who wants to travel abroad needs to save up. = They who want to travel abroad need to save up. = He who wants to travel abroad needs to save up. 凡是想到國外旅遊的人都需好好存錢。
我喜歡趁空閒時到書店打發時間。幾週前我在台灣的一家書店裡發現了這本「英語會話6000」,是一本會話辭典來的。在仔細地探究其內容後,我深信它可以讓許多的台灣英語學習者獲益喔!
I like to kill time in bookstores whenever at leisure. A few weeks ago, I found this book, 英語會話6000 (English Conversation 6000), an conversational English dictionary, in a bookstore in Taiwan and was convinced that it could benefit a lot of Taiwanese English learners after “closely looking into its contents”.
** 第一句以複合關係代名詞whenever所引導的副詞子句中,若其主詞和主要子句的主詞相同則可省略,主動詞用ving,被動動詞用p.p.(B動詞則省略喔,就如本段第一句原句:whenever I’m at leisure)。例:Whenever watching a movie, I like to eat popcorns.
當您翻了翻此書的第一個感覺就是,這些內容都不難嘛,很簡單啊!是的~書中有很多的會話用語都是用我們所熟悉的字句拼湊而成,也是阿逗仔平時常用的口語,但您可以流暢且自然地如此脫口而出嗎?有很多字句甚至還會讓您訝異地驚覺,「啊!原來要這樣用才對喔!」
The first thought that comes into your mind when you flip through this book is very likely to be “the contents are not so difficult, easy for me”. True. A number of the conversational phrases and sentences in this book are made up of the basic words we’ve already known and are actually spoken by English native speakers in their daily lives. However, can you express them fluently and naturally as the native speakers do? Also, in many cases, you may exclaim at some phrases and sentences with “What? This is the correct way to use?”when you study this book.
例 Examples:
This movie is playing in theater number 3. (這部片在三廳播映)
He can never sit back and relax. (他老是閒不住)
My son always talks back at me. (我的兒子總是和我頂嘴)
I usually sleep on my stomach. (我通常是趴著睡的)
The camera loves you. (你很上相耶)
Let’s go club hopping this Friday. (這週五咱們來去逛夜店吧)
I have a corn on my foot. (我腳上長雞眼了)
☆ 上頭例句中的很多字您可能都知道,但您會這樣說嗎?
You may perhaps know most of the vocabulary in the examples above, but can you express like these?
“English Conversation 6000” contains the situations we often encounter in our everyday lives and sorts them to 13 main themes with 120 sub-themes, ranging from daily basic conversations to the expressions related to cooking, the use of digital products, eating in restaurants, seeing a movie…and even to club chopping. 6,000 example sentences are included within the well-categorized themes with key words explanations and additional words supplement to guide learners to appropriately use English and enable them to learn in an efficient way. In addition, this book is compact and light-weighted, which can be easily carried and read at any time.
鄉親喔,不要遲疑了,快來書局找找這本書。您將發現它會是您心所渴望的!

Thank you, Steve I will go and find this book. You are really good at recommendation.
You're welcome Yaping. This book is very nice, you will find it very useful. It's very hot today. Do you go swimming these days?
No, I didn't go out these days, for it's extremely hot outside. I just stayed at home to avoid the suntan;I did nothing but bake some cookies in the kitchen.
Wow, that's cool. Then, try to post the cookies you made and share them with us....hm...must be so yummy.
yummy... I just can say it is "edible". WA~haha

hello|
Dear Steve, As your recommendation, I borrowed this book from library. I plan to buy its CD for further learning after I will read all the contents in the book for final decision. As your reading experience for this book, all the contents are used often and correctly for native speakers, right ? My English is not good so I don't know how to judge its accuracy. I do need to learn useful daily materials so that I can often use in my life to get proficiency. Thanks for your recommendation and please further advise your comments on the accuracy for this book. Thanks again. Bye, Tammy
