About three years ago, I could have been a student of Newcastle University in England to pursue Phd degree in Educational and Applied linguistic, but it ended up a dream eventually. Though a dream, it’s the sweetest and most meaningful one ever.

陪好友遊花蓮之-「食在花蓮」 Showing Friends around Hualien-the Foods
來到花蓮，除了欣賞當地令人讚嘆的天然美景之外，就是要好好品嚐那兒高人氣的美食了。
When visiting Hualien, in addition to going sightseeing for its breathtaking natural scenery, you should not ignore the highly-praised delicacies there also.
這趟花蓮行是麻吉好友—Steven「辛苦」籌劃的。為了好好招待兩從香港來台灣玩的好友—Pretor及Alex，他很用心地規畫這三天兩夜的花蓮之旅，而我也好一段時間沒回來花蓮了，很想再回去回味那些我所熟悉的事物，所以特地換班讓自己有時間可以配合這趟花蓮行。
This Hualien tour was “painstakingly” organized by my best friend—Steven. He’d gone all out to have planned the 3-day trip in order to show our friends—Pretor and Alex from Hong Kong around Hualien. It’d been ages since my last visit there and I felt so happy to have been invited to return to Hualien again to re-visit those things familiar to me, so I purposely changed my work schedule in view of jointly participating in this trip with them.
**第一句的 in order to…是英文裡頭「為了…」的用法。它的公式很簡單：in order to/ so as to + 原V = so that / in order that + S + may (can / will) + 原V = with a view to / with an eye to + Ving。例：Steven went to America in order to study English = Steven went to America in order that he might study English = Steven went to America with a view to studying English. Steven為了學英文而到美國去。

和好同事Alan一起做紐約班 Operating JFK Flt with Alan
這次是我二度飛紐約班，因為和好同事Alan一起飛，所以這次紐約行格外充實。
This was my second time to operate the JFK flight. Flying with one of my best colleagues, Alan, made this journey extremely enriching.

我在這個月已把每月可以換班的五個Quota用完了，大部份都是長班，看起來「頗有賺頭」。
This month I’ve already used up all the 5 swapping quotas, mostly for long-haul flights, which seems so lucrative.
